Meet with your loan officer to pre-qualify for a loan before you start to look for a house. You will learn what your anticipated costs and mortgage payments will be and decide if you would like to proceed. Once you find a home, you will need to make a formal mortgage application. The following are some typical documents required:


- W-2 and 1040 forms from the previous two years
- Profit and loss statements or 1099 forms, if you own a business.
- One month of paycheck stubs.
- Residence and employment history for the past two years.
- A complete list of your debts, such as credit cards, student loans, investment property loans car loans and child support payments, along with minimum monthly payments and balances.
- List of assets, including bank statements, mutual fund statements, real estate and automobile titles, brokerage statements and records of other investments or assets.
- Canceled checks for your rent or mortgage payments
- We will assist you in coordinating your mortgage process and clearing conditions with your loan officer, underwriter and closing department.
- We will review your pre-closing lender documentation such as the Loan Estimate, Commitment Letter and Closing Disclosure.
- We will complete the title work and provide the title commitment necessary to clear your loan for closing.
- We will coordinate the scheduling of your closing with all parties.
- We will draft Notes and Mortgages for family transactions or private loans
- Our attorneys will conduct your closing and explain all closing documents at the time of execution.
- We will disburse the closing funds and resolve any post closing issues that may arise.
